i just installed a fwi and i cannot really tell the differnce yet i only took it for a short drive and i was not able to stop and takeoff to see if it will squeal the tires more than it did but so far im not really impressed. but i am going to give it a week or so, and i did notice when i finished up hopped inside my car and it took 9-10 turnovers with a couple pumps on the gas pedal to start which i thought was strange so i guess i just wanted to hear your guys opinion

 

ok for starters, what car and engine do you have?
do you have pics of your setup? or can you describe what you used to build it?
have you had the car scaned for codes recently? if not AutoZone will scan it for free if you dont have your own scaner.
also did you disconnect the battery? if so the car will need to relearn the fuel trims and make adjustments.

when i did my FWI i knew it made a diff cause i would always race my friends, wife's volvo and she would always edge me out. and after that my car would now pull on her ever so slightly and not lose any ground. so yeah it helped.

well give us some more info and let me know.

 

1995 monte ls. i will be posting some pics on mymonte later tonight so you can look there i used your guide to build it, i am going to redo it thought like your current one because i built it just like your first one no i havent had it scanned i probably should... so could that have just been an engine learing stage then?
