Flowmaster is great, dont get me wrong, but Ive never heard a 3400 that sounded as good as mine, that just might be my opinion though. And, if you do get whatever you do, Id for sure make sure you duel it, the sound is just so much better quality than single exit.
Take a listen to mine>>

Thats with it piped from the stock collector (rear manifold back with duals)
Resonator, cat, u-bend delete.
Actually, Its a ZZP 2.5" offroad Downpipe, Res delete, and pipes are upgraded to 2.6" (the larger diameter pipes are just for a TINY bit better sound. And then some cherrybombs to top it off. The guy who put on my mufflers said they are called cherry bomb "whitebox" but I have come to find out that guy is a BIG FAT LOAD OF SHT!! They are cherrybomb, but they are Cherrybomb "PRO" and the ******* ripped me off on the price!! But hey, Im VERY happy with it so whatever its all good
Id VERY much reccomend going with the setup I have (with whatever mufflers you choose) cause without the cat, u-bend, and res delete, you're not gonna get that quality sound you're looking for.

allright i'm thinking of changing this thread from 80 series to 40 series delta flow cause thats what i'm stuck with from my dad. nobody caries the super 44 series right now and to order it would be weeks!!! anyway aparantly alot of bumper to bumper chains have the 40 series with 2.5 in dual 2.5 out so yay. talked to my exhaust guy and basically they are the same thing but the 40 is going to be slightly quiter, so i'm thinking i'm going to throw a cherry bomb on with the 40 and call it a day. now white i see in your description of your monte that you have dual cherrybombs, is that better than just one?

sweet baby jesus i'm getting irritated. i'm stuck with 2.25 pipes now! my mechanic thats doing my exhaust claims there is no way to do the 2.5 exhaust the way i want it! i mean is it that hard! so i tried a few other places and they would charge me $500 at least and still not do it the way i want. so now i have to bite the bullet and get 2.25 in pipe. is it going to be that different of a sound compared to 2.5????

he was probably conserned that you might loose back pressure when up grading to the 2.5. the header out lets should be 2.25 out lets and he was probably wasent sure how to conect the 2.25 to the 2.5 pipes. when i did my trucks exaughst and my monte's the shop did a cone type of conectors to the oreginal 2.25 to the 2.5 pipe. the exaughst guy that you know probably didnt have a setup to do that type of work because they didnt have enough people to justify getting a 1k type of bender to do it.

Sorry, didnt see your post till now. What I was talking about was, its better to have two pipes comming out the back instead of one, regardless of what or how many mufflers you have. IDK why he couldnt do bigger inlets and outlets, he would just have to get some reducers (5 bucks each) and flip them around so they are bigger on the outlet (going to the inlet of the muffler.)

its cool white. i guess what my exhaust guy is trying to tell me is that its unsafe somehow that with the placement of the pipes and muffler with the gas tank is unsafe but i still don't buy it. i've checked out most of the other members exhaust layouts and most of them have y pipes which i'm eliminateing and even with the y pipe its more or less the same but where they are being split is just closer to the cat. a friend of my brother-in-law is going to look at the car and see what he can do so maybe i can get my way.
