Default Exhaust questions really scratching my head!

Alright im trying to decide what to do with my exhaust on my 3.8, i want a throaty clean sounding exhaust with mufflers, on a budget that it, around 600. i found a set up kit for SLP powerFlo cat-back which is nicee but i found that SLP have a louder muffler called the Loud Mouth 2, which is what i really want.now im new to cars this being my first car and monte, i was wondering if it would be okk to put on the loudmouths on the existing stock piping or if that is a terrible ideaa and should get get new pipes with the u bend delete. Help Me!

the aftermarket exhaust systems won't have the ubend built in, that'd be in the downpipe, are you supercharged or plan on going supercharged or turbo? then you may want a system with 2.5" piping. you could put the loudmouths on the existing pipes, it will be loud and probably raspy at some point like all other mufflers on the monte v6's and then get the ubend delete along with that

Go on YouTube. Find what you think sounds good.

Personally if you got a ZZP Downpipe for your car that will remove a lot of your restrictions in your exhaust, then you can just go to an exhaust shop and get a different set of mufflers to change the sound a little.

Easily under $600

No im not planning on turbo charging or supercharging, and which zzp downpipe is the best do you think Chibi, i have to stick with the 2.5", and from what ive listen to on youtube im liking the loudmouth II's havnt heard them on a monte which makes it kinda original i think haha have heard them on the 3.8 v6 mustang and they sound good.

$600 bucks sounds like a lot to spend on exhaust to me. Has anyone else quoted or had custom exhaust made from tubing? Is it that hard to find someone who can do this?

it was a simular price that i spent on all of my exaughst work it is due to probably the better pyps and better or less bends in the new type. the caughst that i have is about 650-670 in pipes and labor

seems like 500-600 is easy to spend on an exhaust if you do a whole cat back...i was gonna go to a exhaust shop til they told me how much..and it was basically the same thing as the magnaflow kit they make for my SS. so i just broke down and bought the magnaflow kit last night
