How does the 3800 sound when you open the cut out?

Here is a You Tube of my car with the cut out 60% open. Turn up the volume to listen to it. But again I'm heavily modified internally and with a turbo.

that might be one of the best sounding 3800s out there. Is that a gauge on how far your cutout is open there on the dash? said 63 or something? Badass car though I love it.

Thanks much, it does sound pretty good to me too. I heard a very similar Turbo GP on You Tube one time and complimented the guy.

The control panel your referring to holds the QTP exhaust cutout controller. So yes it was reading at 63 % open. I really have had a run of good lick with the QTP system and the digital controller is pretty rad and even looks good too...

That's really cool I haven't seen something like hay before. I am just running a switch by he floor coming from under the console so I can tuck it up and in at shows.

That was awesome!

That definitely answered my question. I have a long way to go on my car but at least I have something to shoot for. Greg you have set the bar very high. That is truly ONE HOT CAR!.

Great video too. I like the choice of music.

I have been a big supporter to Badlanz HPE. He is a local guy and has a great product as a nice price. Here is mine in action.

LS4 cutout comparison:

wow the undercarrages of both your cars look great. mine has some rust issues i hate living on the east coast, I'm going this spring to see why i can do to prevent more and hopefully remove most of the rust after dropping a lot of money in my monte. now my mechanic says he wants to install the exhaust cutout right before the y split to the mufflers. any downfall to this install? he said this would be the best fit. i feel like i wouldn't gain even the slightest performance with this location. any suggestions?

I gained about 5whp with mine open on a N/A engine. I live in Iowa and the only reason mine is clean is because it doesn't go out past November and stays in until April. Thanks too
