Downpipes, DTC Codes & Anti-Foulers

Just a follow up on this thread...
When I installed the downpipe I did not use the anti-fouler. I figured if it threw the code I would then use the anti-fouler. It's been about 6 months and still no code so I don't think I am going to need to use it.
As far as the emulator goes, I think I would wait and see if the code pops up. If it does try the anti-fouler trick first...it's a lot cheaper.
