Post Custom CAI

I have a 2002 Monte SS. I havent uploaded any pics yet but i will be doing so very soon. I really want to install a cold air intake on my monte but i want to consider doing a custom one..if not ill be going with the K&N setup. I really dont know how to get the most out of the custom one so anyone who has any suggestion from how they have done thier custom intake if you could help me get datrted id really apreciate it.

Do NOT get the K&N setup. It is terrible.

x2 on everything he said, or just do a fender well intake.

Seems like the best ways to go if you actually want to see performance gains is Wizaired or fender well.

A fender well intake is actually very simple and fairly cheap, I did my own this past weekend. In all it cost me about 75$ and less than hour of my time.

Another option is Cold Air Inductions. No matter what flavor CAI you get (or make) the main idea is to keep the intake air cool by isolating it from the underhood heat.
