Installed my zzp DP today, got a leak at the gasket that connects to the resonator, so im going down to Napa in a bit to get a new one and try that one lol :p
anyways my exhaust was dead with that stupid clogged cat, it now sounds pretty beast!! haha oh how i missed it. i think it actually sounds louder than when i first installed that Magnaflow DP could it have been bad from the get go?
oh and i'll be getting an Overkill tune soon as well, finally lol

here's the pics of the two...
that flex piece looks pretty restrictive on the magnaflow one lol

the ZZP one has a much Bigger inlet

and the old cat

this came out the other side

Good deal Frank, good to hear replacing the cat solved your problem. Before getting a tune though I think I'd figure out and fix whatever is causing excessive fuel to make its way into the cat. Otherwise that ZZP downpipe is going to look like the Magnaflow one before you know it.

LOL let me get my software first.

Frank, the only thing I can think of is putting a little black RTV with the gasket?

black rtv is gasket sealant, i'm sure it will be fine with the heat.

Hi `Frank, I know it has to be frustrating 4-Sure..

Is the thread good ? Does the bolt tighten all the way ?
It's possible that you have 2 bad gaskets...I've purchased a part & it was bad & took it bad and the 2nd one was bad also...Wish you good luck on resolving this problem & I know that you won't give up... Does your auto parts store only show one gasket for your connection ?

Like Mod `Mike posted, they do have some amazing sealants for heat out there, but I understand that may not be a permanent solution (?)
I was going to post ~>WELD that sucker on (LOL), but really I would not ~> GOOD LUCK 4-Sure
