vs generic, yes. Make sure you get a CLOSED air intake box. The K&N CAI have a heat shield only, and thats not good enoigh. There are several others out there, also. Here is the Thrasher:

I didn't like the billows tube they use, just like the factories.

I have never used this one before, but i think it would be one of the better ones out there seeing as it is a FWI
