Anyone removed their mufflers on a V8ss and had just straight cat backs? Do these cars have resonators? Any sound clips? Thanks.

 

its been done. they do have a resonator. i bought the magnaflow cat back and was disappointed with the sound. took the mufflers off of it and had straight pipes welded on. it sounds pretty similar with the factory resonator. i would say if your going to do it use 2.5 at the y cause the factory exhaust cuts down to i believe 2.25 there. heres the thread. oh yeah nice car love the black amethyst.
