I love that straight pipe sound! I don't think I can get away with it where I live. We have pretty thorough vehicle inspections every year and mods that aren't subtle are reason to fail the inspection. There is also a big crack down on louder than stock exhaust. All fart can hondas are scrambling. I would love to find that beefy sound but still have mufflers. The state of Maine is like communist Russia.

X2- doesn't get much easier than that. If you love the straight pipe sound, but still want it quiet sometimes to pass inspections & police- an electric cutout can be had for about the price of a good muffler anyways. I'd probably put it after the cat though, just so they don't give you a hard time at inspection.

 

Just had my cat replaced and it blew fresh life into my SS. I have Flow40s. My car is now stupid loud, and not in my opinion ricey at all. Deep and loud. And I deleted my resonator a while back as well.

But its all a matter of personal opinion, its like me asking you can a anchovy taste like a good fish? I think its awful, but you might think its the best thing out there. I'm sure some people hate my exhaust but I love it.
