I have been talking to the owner of an exhaust shop and he said, given enough interest, he would make headers for the LZ9 3.9 liter. I'm guessing that pretty much anyone with that engine has been dying for this moment, so if you guys can fill this forum with enough interest in this product, he will start making them and selling them!

What size pipes, what length what are they, crossover or separate, There is more then just the making,They have to be tune to make them worthy of what they are design to do. Then to make sure they flow good without restrictions. What I am saying once made someone has to see if a difference is made in performance with them. Price V performance..

good luck with that we tried it more than once !
the shops either they get discuraged after the first set and back out ,or they say they are charging 1000$ so nobody buys them.
the best bet is to buy a set of flanges and make your own it will run you around 300 bux .

I do realize what goes into manufacturing these things, and I've seen this guy's work and have some of it on my car. This is still in the idea phase, we were just trying to get a scope for what kind of market there would be for this item. I'd love to see some of the 3900 people speak up, because I know how hard it is to get parts for this engine. I don't know if it'd only cost $300 plus the flanges to make a set of tuned, properly lengthened headers for a fwd v6, I fear the piping alone would cost almost as much. Thanks for at least pointing out what specs you are concerned about, and yes, there will be extensive testing done on the finished product. We plan on dyno runs, 1/4 mile runs, and high mileage testing (which won't take too long, because I drive about 3-500 miles a week). Again, thanks for the input and let me know who's interested. As far as pricing, I can't speak for the man, but I can't see them being terribly overpriced, like the $1000 example that was given.

Ah, Godbot, was waiting for your input. I knew you'd be behind this! I talked to the guy today and he said he was looking for between 6 and 10 interested individuals, including myself. If I can take Godbot's and Sonin66's posts as proper interest, we're halfway there. Of course, the more volunteers, the lower the cost....
