A bit of a Noob to my Monte Carlo SS
#11
Budget is not to much of an issue, the biggest problem is resources. I live in an apt and i do not have a garage in order to do a Engine Swap. From i read so far is doing a top swap is going to be my best bet in order to do the engine work in my parking slot.
So i guess i should look at doing all the major things first then work to the small stuff. I guess i could say is i rather not dump no more than 5k in the engine not including the exhaust i consider that a seperate expense.

Yeah man, when I get back we'll talk.
I suggest top swapping, but I don't see being able to do that in your apartment parking slot. I mean you could but I don't think management would be too happy. For what you can do I'd suggest the SSM90 or turbo kit for ease of install purposes.

It sounds like:
1. Budget isn't a big issue
2. Your mechanical knowledge is "moderate"
3. Ease of install is important
4. You want to go with a blower and not a turbo
Sounds like a perfect SS M90 candidate to me. If you go the SS M90 route, the kit ($1600 after core charges) plus supporting mods ($1000) and HP Tuners ($500) will net you a pretty quick ride for not a lot of work. The install is basically a glorified lower intake manifold swap. You'll spend more time playing with HP Tuners than you will turning wrenches.
