Well I got the install started today. The front header is on and there is one bolt left in the rear manifold to take out. I ended up going with Denso wires and NGK plugs that are one step cooler. I also go Stage 8 locking header bolts. They are pretty cool how they work but are a pain in the *** to get the little C clip on. The headers will be done tomorrow. The cutout and exhaust will be done Saturday afternoon.

Listened to your video sound clips, wow is all I can say! She really sounds very nice. You do gain a significant amount of whp with a cut out. On the dyno my car gained 30 whp with the cutout open. Cheap hp so to speak.

You have created a monster!! it lives...

Thanks! I am really happy with how it all came out. It is a lot of fun being able to open that up whenever I feel the need. I feel like with it open I lose a lot of low end torque but it really picks up the HP with rpms. I would really like to get mine on a dyno.

Would be interesting to see your dyno results. Bet they would give us all a shock, I mean your video doing the burn out was very easy for you to light up your tires and smoke the heck out of them. Perhaps sometime at some car show event they will have a mobile dyno type event and there will be your chance.

What cut out did you end up getting? Is it electric opened? I have had a QTP system for over 7 years now and it's worked very well with me. Some people complain about them, but so far so very good for me... Knock on wood!

It has to make other drivers look when you blow by, bet at a light if someone is prodding you to race and you open the cut outs it will make them go oh sh*@! whats he got...

I would love to see what I could put down. That car is a burnout machine for sure. I took it to a bachelor party last night and rolled up with the cutout open and they made me do one infront of the guys house Then after everyone was asking me what motor I dropped in it

I got a Badlanz Cutout. They are local here in Iowa. They use the same motor as a QTP but modify it and they make everything else from scratch. It has a 5 year motor warranty too. Glad to hear yours has been really good

Yeah I can't wait for the first person to try that to me. I was messing with a 3rd gen Camaro that revved up infront of me today. They were shocked to hear mine.
