General Exhaust Help + Anyone From Boston Have Experience W/ Lou's Custom Exhaust?
Hey guys, complete newbie here.
I mentioned in the New Members thread that the Monte I just got (an '03 SS) is only my second car. I've been driving a 97 Camry for the past 6 years or so. Having said that, I obviously wasn't really into the car, so I never really aquired a great knowledge of the technical and performance side of cars. Now that I have a car I like, I've been looking into a bunch of stuff to mod it. One of the things is getting a custom exhaust.
I live North of Boston, and there is a place called Lou's Custom Exhaust that is pretty popular around here. I'm wondering if anyone here is familiar with them. If not, could you guys just give me some basic knowledge of what I'd be looking at? What type is the best in your opinion? What am I looking at money wise if I'm not trying to break the bank? Please try to be as explanatory as possible, because like I said, this is all new to me.
Thanks!

Where exactly do you live? Im from the Northshore myself (Rowley) and have done business with lous before. Theres also a place in Salisbury (where i had my exhaust on my monte done) called Coastal Customs. I had them do flowmaster super 40's with quad stainless tips. cost me just under 400.
