i had cat cut off with no resinator, and thrush mufflers. sounded nice. it was a deep tone and i loved it. cops in my neighborhood are a pita though and i dint want a ticket. thats why i made mine quite.

 

You need to get a book of local laws and throw it in the cops' face when they pull you over for being too loud. Did you know the DB level of a motorcycle is less than the allowable level for a car?? That means, by law, a car can be louder than a motorcycle. And think of all the guys on their bikes roaring down the road who NEVER get pulled over. This is somthing that has got on my nerves since I was 16!!!

 

but by a cops perspective. "noise saves lives" when it comes to motorcycles. they are very picky about things and i cant afford to take the chance of it getting me cought driving out of my restrictions. bad enough my tints already do

Better safe than sorry. Anyway, there is always SOME excuse a cop can come up with.
Im lucky, the cops where I live use the whole "if it dont hurt nobody we dont care" thing, unless you're a known trouble maker, then they're always on your @ss. I mean there has been times where (there is a street that is pretty open) I have been caught doing 55 in a 20 and they just stop you and ask what the rush is. Now remember, that is a back street with no houses on it, that would'nt fly in town. Enough babbling though.

Order what?? The thrush mufflers?? Those might be a good choice also, didnt even think about those.

 

how about those slp powerflos? i know theyll be expensive, but from what i heard, they sound awesome, anyone know where i can get just the mufflers?

 

They should have them on thier website.
