Default 2005 ss cai

I'm going to be ordering a CAI for my '05 Monte SS next month and I'm trying to figure out the best option. I've ruled out K&N because I don't like hot air intakes. I've looked at Wizaired but I've been leaning more toward the Cold Air Inductions CAI. My only issue is it says 1998-2004 3.8L, and not 2005. I'm not really sure why but will it work in the '05? I'm assuming so. Thanks!

1998 - 2004 3.8L Monte Carlo Intake System - 2005 - V-6 3.8L - Monte Carlo - Chevrolet - Cold Air Intakes - Store

According to your web site:

You dont have a CAI system for my 1999 MonteCarlo Z-34...3.8 series II

Since you would have to custom build one for it...
Whats that gonna cost me?.... Since It will end being a "special" order ?
Custom build????

I filled out your form as far as a "free" CAI system..since I live in The Detroit Metro Area...(since you dont make 1 for my vehicle)
So, What should I expect to have happen?
also sent PM....

I did respond to your PM, and already recieved your response back. Correct, we do not have an application for that year and model.

We do not do "custom builds", everything we design and sell is made to be produced in a standard manufacturing format that requires volume to be profitable. We are not a custom shop, we are a manufacturer. Also we get over 20 requests every day for different vehicles that people would like a CAI for, obviously we can not make one for everything, therefore we go off our customers demands and requests.

To be clear to everyone, we would obviously love to provide every available car out there with our CAI, but that is not exactly feasible, reasonable, or profitable, and in our case we have many employees and families that depend on us to run this business in a profitable manner. I am sure that the large majority of you already understand this and can appreciate it. But since we value everyones business and support, whether or not we make a CAI for your vehicle, I thought it may be appropriate to post this to clear up why we can't have a CAI for everything.

Thanks!
