Default 1st mod

I've been wanting to put an exhaust on my monte since I bought it. 2001 V6 3.4L nothing really special but still is going strong for me. I want something that has a really depp throaty sound but doesn't sound like a rice burner. I was looking at the magnaflow full downpipe/cat w/ u-bend delete #23433. Am I heading in the right direction at all? Don't want to spend a ton of money making mods just something cheap to make it have that rumble.

thanks,
jenn

thanks I'll take a look at the flowmasters, my brother just installed a complete custom flowmaster kit on his friends 98' monte and it sounds amazing.

Does anyone have any suggestions on anything else? I'm trying to get the best bang for my buck and I also don't want to take away alot of her hp, is there any other mods I should consider along with my exhaust to keep the performance up to par?
