Default 1999 z34 new downpipe, need help

So I bought a downpipe for 200$ from zzperformance, I figured since my 99 z34 has a 3800 series II, the downpipe would bolt right up. No, the end flange has 4 bolts and the stock downpipe has 2... I figured if I bought the rest of the exhaust from end of down pipe to the tips, I could hang the exhaust up and it'll bolt up so I can weld it with no trouble..... Anyone do this? or have knowledge that I'll have to make custom hangers for the rest of the exhaust? Bum'd out I have a big hunk of 200$ metal sitting in my garage, ready to sell it

You have a Generation 1.5 w-body, those downpipes are for the generation 2 w-body.

It might not fit even if you finished the exhaust.
