does the monte have the gen4 3500 or the high value 3500 ? i dont remember if the 06 get the gen 4 ?
if its the gen 4 there is some stuff out there but if it's the high value V6 there is stuff on the way

I understan how frustrating it is that these cars are more economical than performance. I can suggest just a few things
MPD INC RAM AIR HOOD TO THE COLD AIR INTAKE, BEST WAY OF DUCTING THE AIR AND GETTING THE MOST PERFORMANCE
out of the intake

HP TUNING KIT
If you were to race at a track, go for a 50 or 75 shot of nitrous, cheapest way to get a big performance boost at the track
If I ever see anything more on the 3.9 or 3.5 engine to come out performance wise I will post the findings
I definately think save the money and upgrade to a v8 engine in the ss, pay the car off and use your v6 for many years and then do a engine and tranny swap, I will do this much later but worth the investment for performance, I would be happy with the v8 and a shot of nitrous and tuned pcm to get a 13 second car rather than a 15.9 second car at the qurter mile track.
