Try a shorter resonator (or remove it all together, although it may get a little droany), or changing up the mufflers to something aftermarket. I swapped mine w/ Magnaflows and I'm quite happy w/ it. They have a real nice rumble at idle and it does give it a little raise in sound, it's a lot deeper too. I don't like real loud either.

Price, Goals?

Cheapest thing is to go to a muffler shop and have them swap your mufflers out for something else (I like the Magnaflows).

The same time I replaced my downpipe I installed a Magnaflow glass pack in place of the resonator. It's slightly louder at idle than the stock system was, and has a nice, mellow tone to it. It sounds great on acceleration and at cruise with no drone. I'm running it through the stock mufflers, so it doesn't have that obnoxiously loud sound you usually get from a glass pack.

According to my invoice from the muffler shop that did my work it says

STAINLESS TURBO/MAGNAFLO
ITEM #: 11224*
QUANTITY: 2
ST: RO
PRICE PER UNIT: 154.09
So about 155 for one. Of course they make plenty of different types, but it also comes w/ a lifetime warranty.

i deleted my mufflers and my car vibrates on the inside lol. it might be because i had to cut the crappy pipes the shop used off and now it just cut off where where the mufflers started

Ya i do like the magnaflows. and they dont seem too expensive. I'll definately look into it in the near future because i just spent 1000 fixing brakes and wheel bearings . But its running great now and the only things left to fix are my front bumper and right sidemirror. Thanks for all the help guys!
