so....I'm getting too fustrated over the hazard/turn signal switch not working properly. Checked at work(autozone) & we sell it for $60. Almost had a heart attack!

Just gone onto rockauto & the acdelco part is $20. wowwwww thats good.

Speaking of... can anyone give advice or show how to install a new switch? & is the button easily removable?

 

I have never taken the hazard switch out of my Monte, but I've had that dash piece off more then once. Getting the dash apart is a piece of cake.

Here's what the shop manual has for removing the hazard switch once you have the dash panel off:


10. Disconnect the electrical connector from the hazard warning switch.
11. Remove the hazard warning switch from the I/P cluster trim plate.

Im kinda surprised your haveing an issue with it....with mine being a 5th gen...Im curious what they did to your 6th gen to have that issue....

But wow what a price difference... from the auto parts to ac delco etc....Talk about a mark up?....Dang....

Does that make me weird? ...Considering most guys I wouldnt think...would have an opinion on womens dresses? Let alone a wedding dress?... But hey I guess thats just me!

Will be painting the dash cover with the exact color of the car & some pinstriping accents to make it match Its gonna look awesome!!!!
