C'mon guys, that has to be one of the cheesiest Monte's ever. It looks like he dressed it up with Walmart gear...Not gonna even mention the half assed install of that system. [:'(]

I know that when a person changes/modifies their Monte Carlo that it
will make it their own, & it won't be for everyone.
Just like the stock Monte Carlo.
I think the posted Monte Carlo is a beautiful street/show Monte
for the bidding price. I don't think it's for everyone, but I would not be
ashame to have it, or drive `it.
I know that I'm on a very restrictive budget : ( , & I can't afford many
item's that Walmart sells : )...I'm been searching for parts @ the Dollar Store : )
That's what I love about the MCF, and that is all the diverse opinions, from
members of all age groups, and professions.
Thanks `CD, for your post, & opinion.

very well said space every mod is not going to be for everyone,

as for the ram air hood yes it looks very nice, but there is only 1, there needs to be more than 1 style so not everyone has the same hood, i personally think there was a lot of time and money spent into that car

This is a local car I've seen a few times around town. It too has the same scoops on the hood.

I Agree it is a lil gaudy, but if he was happy then let it be. as far as Earnhardt goes.... Im not a huge fan of Jr. But as far as Dale Sr. hes a legend in my opinion.
For you wiz:

On Earnhardt: Jeff Gordon By GODWIN KELLY (godwin.kelly@news-jrnl.com)
Motorsports Editor Jeff Gordon told this story about Dale Earnhardt countless times last season, but it's defi nitely worth repeating.

Gordon's favorite Earnhardt moment came during an Interna tional Race of Champions prac tice at Daytona International Speedway a few years ago. "We were driving down the back straightaway," said Gor don, who won his fourth Win ston Cup title last year. "It was Ken Schrader, myself and Dale. We came off of Turn 2. Dale was pushing me and I got a run and got underneath Schrader, and Dale decided he was going to take it three-wide. You're out having fun in the IROC cars anyway. "So I'm sitting there in the middle of these two guys and I look over at Schrader. He's fo cused and intense. You could tell he wasn't going to let off. I looked over at Dale and he's sit ting back with a big grin on his face." Gordon said Earnhardt had his left hand on the steering wheel and his right arm propped over the roll cage. At that in stant, Gordon realized Earnhardt was completely in his element. "The guy was just so comfort able in the race car," Gordon said. "Every moment after that, I would always look over at Dale. When we were in the car and we were racing, any chance I got I'd look over to see what he was doing because he was al ways grinning, or (giving a) thumbs-up or doing something. "He was just a guy who loved what he did, and he was so good at it he was able to enjoy it even at its most intense moments."
