Would anyone know where to look to find a 6th gen Monte Carlo to buy that isn't wrecked but just has a blown engine or bad transmission? Have a friend who has a low mileage 98 GM w-body car with Series II 3800 engine and has the knowledge and tools to pull out his power train and put it in a 6th gen monte which would have had the same power train excluding the supercharged version.

 

Craigslist and your local newspaper classified ads are probably your best bet.
