Default Wish my engine bay was this clean!!!

found this pic on Google lol




Idk if anybody noticed but tried to clean my engine bay a little bit
as you can see i tucked away the 2 harnesses that were under the engine diagonal braces haha



Any one else tried cleaning their engine bay up?

dude........... your engine bay is SO clean already! mine is 10x dirty and i have a cluster F* of 0 guage in the left side of my engine bay

That's Jonsmonte. He did a LOT of work to get that engine bay to look so good. If you ever get the chance to look inside of a 5th gens engine bay you'll see what I mean. He had to smooth out everything and repaint it all. I'm not sure where he ended up putting the coolant overflow tank and whatnot, but the end result was great. IIRC, his best 1/4 mile time was a 12.7 second run.

With that said 03limitedss, your engine bay looks great too! I haven't "cleaned" my engine bay because I'm afraid to really, lol. I just try to make it look nice

thanks man but i mean "clean" as in everything tucked/deleted/relocated to make it seem more neat in the engine bay :p

its a K&N precharger screen, to keep the filter a little cleaner lol :p

thanks man. it does look like he did a BUNCH of work, it looks awesome though!!
i kinda want to relocated my coolant reservoir and delete my Cruise controle module thing since it doesnt work anyway :p but that's about it

I did last winter I used a steam cleaner and got all of the nooks and crannies ( over 5 days) but then as most of you know I lost my motor this summer and so i pressure washer the entire engine bay while the motor and trans was out and now it is super clean LOL

thanks man, i never did get a pic of the engine bay when i first bought it, the previous owner should be smacked for how dirty he had it!! the entire car looked like SHYT!
but im taking good care of it now

hmmm might drop the motor and pressure wash my engine bay
i wish :p

urs looks excellent keith!

i cleaned mine up with some purple power and various size brushes and cleaned up okay
