How did you all tint your windows? Did you go dark? Im about to redo the tint on sunday. The front windows were not tinted and the rest just look terrible so im going to the legal limit 35% on the front and limo 5% the rest of the way around. That should help when its 120 degrees this summer. Plus its gonna look awesome.

 

being older with older eyes I cant do the limo tint! my wifes car has dark tint all around from previous owner and we both have a hard time at night!! On my Monte I went with the Florida legal on the back three then had the guy do the same on the front two. doing this I didn't get the legal sticker on my door jam but nobody gives a ****!!

 

Not sure what mine are but this is how they were when I bought it. I like it.

 

I have 5% on the back 3 windows and 20% on front 2 windows. It's really dark and hard to drive at night but looks awesome!! I don't drive mine at night hardly anymore so I'm planning to tint the front 2 windows 5% as well to match the rest.

I did 20% all the way around on my focus st and it's perfect for everyday driving!

 

I have the darkest on my rear 3 which I like because it cuts-down on the South Texas heat. Also, new car headlights nowadays seems to be exceptionally bright and irritating behind me at night, as if they always have their high-beams on. So it takes the edge off of them in my rear view. My front side windows have been clear for a while only because I need to find a good replacement for the support pads in the door to keep from scratching the tint, but once replaced, I'll probably go the legal limit on those as well. But with dark rear windows, it already makes the entire car look darker from a distance. Last but not least, the tint gives you a little privacy to conceal your items inside.

I have 20% on my back three windows and it looks good plus it blocks the car lights at night but I can still see out of it as well. I have nothing on my front windows since around my area they are stricter with that.

 

My monte is my only car so I cant go darker than 35% on the front. I dont want to get those fines for having tint thats too dark, or I would do limo all the way around I love that look of limo tint.

 

My monte is the first car i've tinted, i went 35% all around. Pretty much any tint is illegal in NY, so i decided to try and be a bit on the cautious side. Dark enough to give it the look but usually cops dont bother me and for the most part driving at night isn't too bad.

 

i got 5% on the back 3. i need to get the fron 2 retinted and a light tint on the windsheild just for summber
