Yeah if its low and you add fluid and it goes away its a leak. if its full and dose it you need a new pump

I just finished replacing mine today, I suggest having a second set of hands around if you can, it makes it a lot easier. Easiest method of attack is by pulling the passenger side tire to disconnect the hoses and wire mounting position on the back, then from the top for the bolts and removal of the pump. If you do need a new one, get the pump with reservoir, that way there is less chance of it leaking between the reservoir and the pump.

Wheel bearing do make a whining noise, but its different. A wheel bearing is not engine RPM related. Wheel bearings are a speed related sound...

So I still say power steering pump.

*UPDATE*

I stopped by the Chevy Dealership, a new mechanic there told me that it would be 190.00 just to go under the hood. wow!
he was honest and said i should better go to "Jiffy Lube" IDK, if you guys have heard of them. So i will go to them, since I already have the pump.
Anyways, i asked him to show me where the reservoir was since i never found it >.<
He said it was underneath and it would have to go in the lift to take a look, but i wasn't willing to pay that much tonight.
So i while this is annoying and will have to wait for now.
