When did you become a "car" person
Almost from birth, I grew up in Pomona Ca. in ear shot of the dragstrip. I can vividly remember Sundays at church (one block away on arrow hwy) the top fuel dragsters were so loud the pastor would stop preaching while they did their run, you could see the windows shake and it knocked books over, I was hooked. One of my dads good friends ran a race shop down the street. And my first car a 1967 Camaro, next a 1971 big block Chevelle. I have always been a gear head and a chevy fan.
Well mine was in july of 2013 when I got my first monte carlo a 2004 ss. Shortly after I bought the car I was hired as a teacher for a for profit college. When I got the car It was blue and keyed all the way around and said "B**** 4 different times on the car down to the metal. I was embarrassed to drive the car there thinking "what does that say about me as an Instructor with my car looking that way" And within 3 months I had repairs done to fix mechanical issues, body work done, painted the car black, did the cold air intake, and did the exhaust. But the car really was a POS. The check engine light came on 2 miles from home when I bought it and it was a bad cat. I never got to drive it more than 3 months without something happening. But because of all the issues I now know as much as I do.
Just kidding
