Wheel Skins
#21
I've read on JGMonteCarloSS.com that Jeff Gordon has had signing sessions with selected Jeff Gordon edition Monte owners for the past few years. I wonder if Tony has ever signed any TS edtion Montes.

aaahhh! i wonder too. that'd be a road trip i'd jump at!
edit/PS - sorry for the thread hijack mike. to sort of get back on topic, there was a site i found (i think maybe from a link from here, but i can't remember) Wheelskins.com that has these also. i looked at them again after you posted. they're more expensive there. wheelskins.com also sells the shifter boot though. i've been thinking about changing that when i get my new shifter ****, but they don't have it in orange leather. anyone know of anywhere else that sells these in other colors (specifically, orange)?
i could probably also make my own, since it'd probably be just a little bit of sewing and i would probably prefer just black with orange trim, not fully orange. plus to buy a yard of leather from the fabric store would probably be a heck of a lot cheaper than buying one online. but i thought someone said that the bottom of the shifter boot was attached underneath the center console and was a BIATCH to get off. i haven't taken it off yet. anyone have any insight as to how difficult that may be to replace?

It is a wheelskin, that's why wheelskins.com also sells them :P
I just bought mine through PFYC. I don't know about the boot because I'm not interested in replacing mine, I'm going to paint the shift **** red, and around the boot there is a little plastic ring, does anyone know if that comes off easily? I wanna paint that red also (along with my heated seats button cover)
