While browsing Craigslist for fixers I found this '04 for $400.

Okay, you with the detailed eye, what is wrong? I looked them over kind of half ****, is it what looks like an E-brake handle at the console?

Hey bud, you know the drill. Been overworked for months now, think I see a couple days off coming up in about a week Which I will use to do billing for the 5 month, 7 days a week job. Plum burned out.

Anyway I had a message so I logged in to reply, thought I would scope out the site for a few minutes. Hope you have been doing very well.

My Monte is still in the shop, has been for about 4 months now. They cannot work on it everyday, perhaps weeks go by that they do not get to it. Seems like a distant memory, rarely drove it at all last year. They think about another 45 days, I'm thinking 60 days...

So is it the steering wheel?

Anyway, look close. That's not a Monte interior. The steering wheel has a Chrysler logo on it. Apparently they just inserted a pic from another car. How many gen. 6 Monte's do you know of with a parking brake lever?

 

Wow kind of beat up in the front but it would buff out?
But actually the interior shot appears to from some sort of Dodge product, Status maybe, door panels are off and the buckets are different, dash is similar but not?
Must be the guys other car he plans to sell and just took the wrong photo with his cell phone??

I didn't see the 4 doors until you mentioned it.

 

It's not a bad interior. If you can get an '04 Monte with a Chrysler interior for 400 bucks I think you should go for it...
