This topic is a dead horse. I know you are new here, but you didn't even introduce yourself in a post for us to welcome you. Just jumped on and started asking questions.
It's a little rude.
Anyway, search around the forum in the exhaust section (you may need to go to User CP and Edit Options and change the thread date so you can see all of the OLD threads about this)
All in all, the loudest you can go is open headers. Pipe wise would be a no-cat, no res, straight pipe. But we don't even know what engine you are talking about.
Assuming it's an SS which would be the 3.8 L36, but it could even be an L67 in 04, or even a base model.
We can't help you with such little information and for a car we know nothing about. Exhaust notes are all about the individual anyway. What sounds good to some may sound crappy to others.
Youtube + Searching + what you want. You won't get a V6 to sound like a V8.

glasspacks will get you loud but not necessarily great sound. i think they sound better on a V8 myself, but that's just me. if you want these v6's sound half decent you need a muffler. straight pipes will sound like crap imo, plus you will lose some of your low end torque and economy, which is where your engine is at most of the time anyways. the only time straight pipes benefit you is when you are at WOT such as going down the 1/4 mile drag strip. how often are you at WOT on the freeway at 70mph? rarely.
i have found the search function useful on finding opinions on what exhaust setups sound the best on a given engine. straight pipes imo sound like crap on v8s or v6s. get something that will give you a nice rumble when cruising and bark a little more when you get into the throttle.

Don't expect your V6 to sound like a V8 for one! And IMO straight pipes just sound crappy and loud. Like drew said, if you want your V6 to sound decent, put a nice quality muffler on it, I have magnaflows and like them...Flowmasters are also good....Borla too. Some members have used the summit racing mufflers also, and recommend them. A muffler will give you a louder car than stock for sure, but still keep it toned.
