Lol, are you racing people? When I race alot of people and drive fast I get 21 mpg. Also make sure your tires are inflated to proper psi.

but i do know some of the meemers cant keep up with us LMAO!!!!!!! but i would never race i just tend to take off fast sometimes and have someone trying to get infront of me and they dont always ge tthe job done.

 

i dunno i was getting close to 400 miles per tank put here lately im getting more like 325 or 350 to a tank i i dont know why thats why i have been driving the impala 3400 (buy the way now i see why you guys want mor performance out of these things) it gets killer milage
i have 514 miles on a tank of gas and still have 1/8 of a tank

 

man i would love to know how your getting 400 miles out of a tank of gas. i havent ever seen more then 300 out of mine and that was on the high way before i came here. but even still driving at 130k is only at 80 mph.

So i would not think that driving at 80 would kill almost 60 miles out of a tank of fule in the car with barley 31000 on it.

Also what kind of plugs and wires are everyoen useing?
It is time once a gain for me to look in to changing the dreaded plugs figure it is time to do the wires also.

and give the car a all around gen. tune up.

So any info on this that will allow me to get better milage would be nice. Thanks

 

Yes the 3400 seriously needs more power. I have driven a Malibu Maxx which has a 3.5L V6 and it makes all the difference. It has 20 more HP and 15 more lb-ft or torque than the monte 3400. You can really feel the difference in the torque.

 

mine is the supercharged 3.8l and i get about 33 mpg on the highway and probably about 23-25 in town

 

man ok something is not right on mine then if you are all pulling those kind of numbers.

If i drive mine like a old man i would not see those numbers. I really am not to aggressive as a driver for the most part but i have my moments when i go out and play some on the way to get somethign from base or on the way back but for the most part im pretty good.

 

highway @ 65-70 mph will get 30-33 mpg on average...

Took a 550 mile ride over the weekend...
75mph got me 18mpg
55-60 got me 22.5mpg

Less than 700 miles on the car as I've only had it a week.

 

kool to know wiz kid. but still over here the posted is 80mph or 130 kph. and over here you need to make sure your out of thier way or they will run you over.

dont let anyone fool you that we have bad drivers in the states they drive like freken christanins on a sunday drive compared to the fool that have a lic. here. and get this they have to go threw a driving course for almost a year befor ethey can get the lic. then have to fufill some more req. before they can drive legally.

yeah it is almost scary when the snow files. I hide for at least two days befor ei drive in the winter here.
