I have seen many leather seats available from a year or two newer car such as:

What would it take to put these in my car and have the power seat portion be functional? Is it an easy swap, or not so much?

Hi `Ryan,
I don't think that it would be that difficult, `if you
have tools and some basic knowledge on how the panel
clips are removed/install.
I believe all 6th Generation Monte have the same bolt
patterns for seats, and the side panels should also be the
same.

I would suggest, stopping in @ your local Chevy Dealers
Body Shop, or Auto Interior Shop
and seek their opinions/knowledge on the subject.
Most will share their knowledge/information with you.
They may even print out the diagrams of interior pieces.
If one of our MCF Member's have done this before, or
has knowledge of the procedure, please post your
information for Ryan.
Good Luck, from `Space

No reason this interior won't go right in your Monte.

Another MCFs member asked about installing leather in his Monte, Moderator Taz mentioned the wiring for powering the seats is quite possibly in your car as well. All you need is to find out if the amps of the fuse in the fuse block are enough to handle the extra load?

PS. I'd love to find a wrecked '06-07 Impala or SS Monte and grab the pass side power seat mechanizm for my '06 Monte.

If memory serves me correctly, the power connector for the seat is a black 8 pin connector (2 rows of 4). Not all the pins are used. I believe there's only 6 wires going to the connector.
The info I posted in the other thread is correct. But you'd have to check to see if all the fusesand relays have been installed in the fuse blocks for the power seats and heated seats.

i think you'll be happy with leather seats... it'll bolt right in. it wouldn't make since productio nwise for Chevy to have made the seat bolt patterns different.

If the wire harness is there, it should be coming out of the bump in the floor going accross from left to right, under the front seat.

But as Rick already found out with his fog lights, the factory doesn't always include every wire harness. If the harness is there, it should be sitting under the front seat.
