Took my stock 02 Monte and:

1. Had significantly smaller than present custom intercooled Turbonetics turbocharged system put on my OEM engine. Lasted about a year plus. wanted more power.

2. Took car to Las Vegas for a larger custom Precision turbo system and full race motor build and tranny upgrade. After 6 months of building, got the car back and in about 2 weeks popped the engine with about 800 miles on it. Dumb shop installed smaller than even factory push rods on this high compression build, bent a couple and after that the engine was toast.

3. Had my OEM block built, balanced and blueprinted and a upgraded custom turbo system with the old Precision 6776 turbo reinstalled. Reused Intense racing tranny.

4. Full BMR suspension installed, Eibach Lowering springs, strut braces front / rear

5. Custom roll bar system fabricated and installed.

Been a wild ride...

 

Not sure if I remember the exact order but more or less the first 5 were as follows


CAI from cold air inductions
exhaust work
tail lights
headlights
tint

 

All cool stuff gang! If you read back on what everyone mentioned, there might be one or two fairly common items, but not many. Most of everyone's first 5 mods where different

Painted bottom trim (only months after getting the car in 2000)
K&N trash FIPK "cai"
GMPP cat-back exhaust
My rims?
Headrests?

I really don't know anymore

 

Hmm lets see

Black light interior lights
Led red guarded power switches
EL wire trimming
Painted engine accents
2000w rms optidrive sound system.

Just little things...

 

Here's the list of first 5 for the 06, all of which are current.

1. Subwoofer install (12” Alpine Type-R w/Alpine mono amplifier)
2. Window tint (18% sides/back)
3. Smoked backup lights
4. Shaved GM fender badges
5. K&N 63 Series AirCharger performance air intake

 

1) Dual Magnaflow Exhaust (done within the first week I had bought the car...I don't even think it had 1,000 miles on it)
2) Added an Amp and Sub to stock stereo...later upgraded all speakers too.
3) Tinted windows all around
4) Bowtie door sills installed
5) Changed from Cloth to Leather interior

And the list goes on and on after that.....

So far:
1) 18" Rims and Tires
2) Magnaflow CAT
3) 2" Lift in the rear

Hmmmm, well I remember my first mod but not exactly sure I remember order on rest of first 5.

1. Custom painted SS stripes
2. SS on headrests
3. bowtie emblems on factory wheels
4. CAI
5. GMPP exhaust
(I did a few more things around that period of time also, some may be just before or after these, its all a blur to me now, lol)
