While you're on the phone with GM, see if they can send you a copy of the certificate of authenticity. It's a long shot, but doesn't hurt to ask.

As for collectability, I highly doubt they'll be worth any significant money any time soon. Maybe if you hang onto it for another 20 years.

I hope I'm wrong. Seeing as I own one also. But in the mean time, don't let it stop you from modifying your Monte to make it "yours".

 

That is why I haven't done any heavy mods because u didn't want to destroy the value of the car but since they prolly won't hold any significant value I guess it's time to start busting out the big guns thanks for all the info and your insight taz

Typically you are out of luck if you didn't get it from the original owner. GM hasnt' been giving people a reprint.

 

Yea they won't sent a new one but they will send me a letter with my production number and everything so I at least got something

 

just purchased my 2002 intimadator 8 days ago. it has 4500 miles on it. just had it checked out mechanically, perfect, now tomorrow will have it detailed just for the heck of it. undercarraige has absolute no rust, clean all the way. love it, i have the window sticker, certificate of authenticity ( my car is 791 out of 3333 made)
