Mine's a 2007 white LT, my first Monte Carlo. Is this considered 6th or 7th generation?

Where did you get your car painted? I really need advice on this - everybody says stay away from Maaco, but how do you find a reputable paint shop? So far I've gotten one lead to a guy down in the city in a neighborhood where I can't go...so now what? Keep asking around?

How does your paint look now, 3 years later? I want to change my white '07 Monte to red, but I don't want the paint to start flaking off in a year (which is what could happen with Maaco, they tell me). HELP!!!

I currently have the 1st gen. I have had both the 3rd and 5th gen many years ago.
