Well, depending on who you believe, my first Monte is either a generation 6.5 or 7.0.

To me it doesn't get any better then the 4th gen Montes. The '86-88 SS Are the cream of the crop. (the LS models aren't bad either)

The 6.5, or 7th gen Montes are great too in my book. (did anyone decide if the 2006 Montes are indeed the 7th generation?????????)

4th gen 1985 SS w/ 350/200-4R/3.73 and custom shaker hood

Personally I wouldn't consider the 06 Monte's another generation - all they really did was change the front end body wise. If you look at most generations of most vehicles, the front and rear clip usually changes, possibly a few times, with any given generation. So I wouldn't even consider it 6.5 gen, rather just a newer 6th gen JMO

6th generation...but i'm in love with the 4th.
2002 monte carlo ss, cranberry
black leather guts
12" woofers, type 2 box
500 watt amp on best buy brand woofers that are only 150 watts a piece, but with my box, i'm rattlin the trunk nicely!

p.s. after waxing my monte, my son nearly slid off the hood! lol

I'm trying to get a space so the LTZ can set inside.

First I have a car I need to get rid of. It was a parts car when I bought it.
