One of the first things I did when I got my Monte was paint my engine cover. As someone who hangs with a group of guys that drive grand prixs, the plain stick color was what everyone else had as well. So I painted mine. But now that I am repainting my car I'm looking at repainting the cover as well. And I have color matched paint so I might do it the same dark blue as the car, but I would like to see what you all have and maybe take some ideas. Pictures would be nice.

I'm running cover-less. It hides my F-body aluminum valve covers and future L26 aluminum UIM.

 

An Engine Cover would be a nice novelty. Unfortunately my Monte Didn't come with one. If anyone has an extra in good condition I would be willing to pay $30 or so for it!!!!!

Actually, I've been considering painting mine for a while now (red front and back, black ribbed center; basically like the Corvette Z06 look) and am thinking of going ahead with doing that very soon. If and when I get to it, I'll post after shots here. Here's the cover in stock form.

 

Here is mine, Sorry I don't have any pictures but I do have this video. My camera takes better video then pictures. Eventually I will get a nice SLR to take some good pics.

 

Mine is stock...dark grey with silver 3500 written in the bottom right corner. Same colors as 06MistreSS.
