Probably I'd bet a good portion is in the tires too. We just got 1/2 inch of snow and I pulled out of the parking lot a bit quick and while I missed the ditch by about 5 foot, I still couldn't turn. Luckily I stopped, and tried it again. Taking out the RWD Blazer tomorrow as I haven't had problems with that.

I have always been a fan of rear wheel drive cars. I have owned 2 FWD cars in my life & never felt comfortable driving them in poor road conditions. I guess it was not knowing intuitively how they would react in bad road conditions. Reacting to a case of oversteer in a RWD car is pretty much 2nd nature in my case. Of course now that I live in FL I don't worry about snow these days.
Now if Chevy made the MC in RWD with a rear mounted tranny to balancethe weight & handling capabilitylike it's Corvette cousin that would make an already sweet car, sweeter!
Cheers,
Glenn
