Default What do you guys think of this?

brought my car to the shop (a stealership actually, but not a chevy dealer) to have my power steering pump replaced. The wife dropped me off to pick it up after hours last night. As soon as I started the car I knew it wasn't right, I could still hear the whining that it was doing with the bad pump, and on the ride home (had to drive it home, wife already took off!) on several ocasions the wheel "snagged" while turning, as if it wanted to lock up, but twisting a little harder and she turned...obviously kinda scary feeling though...

So this morning I give them a call and tell them what happened, and they told me that it is probably an air bubble in the system and it will work itself out. Told me to drive it around for the weekend and see what happens.

I don't know much about power steering, but I find it hard to blieve an air bubble is causing this..I know alot of people here know alot more about it than I do, so what do you think?

I say drive, or tow it back whichever is safer for you.
You shouldn't risk your self to see if "works itself out over the weekend" you might be dead.

you can have an air bubble in there. check the fluid level and turn the wheel side to side all the way. when i replaced my ps pump it took a couple days to get the air out.
