I'll say 3 thing

1 i like to take sharp turns
2 i like to have more than an inch of rubber between my wheels and the road
3 every one has there own taste can't say i like it and if was going to do anything that involves lifting a monte it would be this

I see no reason in doing that to any car. Why would you make it slower, handle worse (and our cars don't handle good anyways), less reliable, and get worse gas mileage? There's nothing to gain there.

Unless you think that it's cool to show everyone how much money you have. In that case I still don't understand why anyone would do that.

NO WAY!!! That's just ignorant to put a car on that big of wheels. Don't take a turn to hard, and hopefully you don't mind buying new wheels often because on 1/2" of rubber they'll get messed up fast.

Also, are you going to carry a step ladder in your trunk to get into the car. Oh wait, you'd need a step ladder to get into the trunk, too.

Default Yuck

My personal opinion is that it looks like garbage! Friend of mine got 28s on one of his rides and its teribile. When I told him he said it was just for looks not function(whats the point). To each their own I guess.
