What to do? LS might get traded.
So jokingly I put my car up for sale awhile ago, well I checked my email and have a ton of people willing to trade not many buyers but trades seem plentiful. Lets face it also some of the trades are sad, like a boat or a 89 honda civic. That being said I found a few that sounded ok.
1. 1999 Dodge Ram 2500 V10
looks good only has 103k looks just like my old truck just more heavy duty but a v10 idk.
2.2004 Impala 3800 V6
looks nice silver with leather and only 40k which is odd and says it was rebuilt and had some rear end damage
3.1998 Chevy 1500 V8
Nice looking truck extended cab red with chrome and no rust taken care of but 160k
4. 2002 Dodge Dakota Sport
Blue sport with a v8 ext. cab 4x4 of course and clean but has 135k
Any opinions or should I just stick with my Monte? Kinda would be nice to have a truck in winter but thought I'd ask opinions.

A lot of people are trying to unload there big gas guzzler trucks so if you want a truck now is the time. A few years back when gas jumped up my buddy bought a Hummer H2 for like 15 grand (about 7grand less then it was worth.)
I'd look at them an try to price them out on nada or kbb and see what there worth and go from there. Also the Impala sounds pretty nice if the repairs were done correctly.

Yeah those old rams are great trucks & that v10 is a viper block basicly its just not aluminum, & thats wayy to much for a salvage title, its worth 5 max a salvage title car is worth 60% of a clean title car

i want a truck too, i would love to have the 2002 dodge dakota sport, but it all depends on you, but that is the one that i would take, gas prices are not really a issuse with me, but i dont really want anything like a hummer or dually

Keep your Monte if it's a good one, why Gamble ~>You know what you already have & it's a Monte Carlo
It's really your decision what is best 4 you & your driving needs....If you are really serious about trading, I suggest doing indepth research on the one you may consider b-4 you decide..Good Luck 4-Sure

I vote neither.
None of the trucks will be practical. You are looking at very low MPGs and a lot of money spent.
If the Impala is so great, why would he trade down to a higher mileage 3400? Gas mileage is the same. I say the damage is worse than he would let off.
You also usually can't insure a salvage titled car the same way.
