We will see. I would probably wait for my tax return to do that thenhave a little while to mess with the inot all and work all the bugs out. Then set up the tune.

hey. Yeah they come bright red but I am not sure if I want to paint them to match the car or just paint them black/silver and have them blend in a little with my wheels The headers will drop the low end torque a little but give me more horsepower at the higher end. The LS6 intake would really work well with the headers. I want it all but I dont think I can swing all of it right now haha I would like to lower it too in the future but I told myself I was waiting until I actually wore the struts out.
Can this be confirmed? Confused too, heard so many things and heard it varies depending on the exhaust piping size. Magnaflows being a 2.5".

I'm referring to the low end torque loss.

Difficult list to choose from. Tint would be an inexpensive one that would make a big difference in the car's appearance. I myself am on the fence about headers right now.

I have been told by a few ls4 guys that you lose low end torque but high end horsepower gets the benefit. This engine won't be hurting to lose a couple Hp on the low end side as easily as it smokes the tires off the line.

Oh I know. It is just deciding what few I want to do right now. I think I will do tint for sure this spring once I get the car back out.. It is really cheap and should make a big difference in how it looks completing the black/red look.

Why not a cam? Maybe like a 224R, nothing crazy, but something to liven it up a bit. You will probably pick up a lot more power than the intake and the headers combined. Then when you get to those, they will make an even better improvement.

I have thought about it. But I kind of want to get rid of all the DoD parts first and it seems easier to start from the top and work myself down that way over time unless I am mistaken. The way I understood it was the DoD lifters and all that need to be out before any big mods like that

Yes DOD stuff has to come out before a Cam can be put in

That's what I always thought. I figured I would work though all those parts with the cam being the last piece in the puzzle. Preferably if I ever have to do anything big on it and have the motor out then that will make the job way easier
