What did you pay for your Monte Carlo?

Paid $1,500 for my 2006 SS Monte, Previous owner drove it and only put gas in it. Motor has 88k body in good condition. car was under a tree and had ants nest in car and oli leak and transmission leaks noticed under car. ive had it for a month iver changed cerpentine belt and spark plugs. working on the oil leak and getting tranny looked at. love this car always wanted one

I got this idea from over on GMLS4 Forum. The numbers and such seem to be scattered all over the Forum and I think it would be nice to have this information in one spot and document what people have paid for their Monte Carlo. Having this information in one spot will hopefully help those interested in and looking for a Monte Carlo get a better idea of what they should and will be paying.

I paid 4000 for my Monte it was a low mileage car I am the third owner it had 70,000 when I grabbed it I’ve put ten thousand miles on it since then I got it for a steal.

I have a 2000 Monte SS 3.8L
My Mom (XOXOXO RIP) and I picked it out together.... SO... I fought My sister for the Car.... I did!
It was at 87000 miles
Arizona Third owner Mom bought form chevrolet dealer in flagstaff she paid 11000 for it!

Small used car dealership in VT.

Private sale, (VT) rebuild, needed some work
I'll tell you how much it cost once I get all the work finished, ha! So far: new horn, rotors, seat covers, air conditioner, 4 new tires (only really needed two but the new ones on it were blech and I can't abide blech tires). Air conditioner still needs a hose my garage hasn't found. More work to come, hopefully all set by fall. I will probably have in double the price I paid by the time I'm done, but the fact is that I love a MOC SS and they are very, very scarce in my area.
