What did you pay for your Monte Carlo?

Just bought a 2006 SS last week from Chevy dealer.
Fully loaded, 75k they had it priced at 8 grand
I traded my 03 SS full loaded with 109k on it
Out the door taxes,tags,title 4 grand
03 was black on black 06 is red on black
Never met a car dealer yet that's admits to making a dollar on a vehicle lol.
I worked at a Chevy dealer for years before went into racing and saw how the game is played.
I figure they prob had 4 or 5 grand in the 06 at least on paper anyhow.
I figure the 03 went to a wholesaler by lunch and is on a lot somewhere.
So even if they sold the 03 for 2 g they made a little.

2003 Pace Car,purchased in 2007 from car max,had it shipped from North Carolina to Jacksonville,Fl, had 38,000 miles,paid $13,995 I emailed the dealer to ask if it was a pace car and they said no even though I could see the badges on it! so I think I got it a little cheaper since they didn't know it was a pace car option!!??
