Keepin it on the low

Been sanding & buffing the lenses... Got the yellow out of the first one, still got some more buffing to do though - still a bit hazy/scratched, that trash takes forever

 

Blazed SS, did you notice much difference after installing the sound deadener?

 

when I did the First a year ago Id But I still had a rattles at 80 hz and below on my 6" 1/2 s so I just turned up the Crossovers to 90 db But i wanted to get down to 50hz so this is what i had to do Remove the vapor barrier and the foam form the doors and go all the way and put 3 3 'x 3' Sheets in each door and 1 on the outside now they are as dead as Bin Laden If you know what I mean !!! LOL

it sounds great to have the doors down that low and to be getting the most out of my Focal 165-KRX2's and the just helps me give my staging more depth for SQ.

Washed monte to see if wax stayed put after a week still looks good. bought zymol to test on a friends car. Going to clay bar it and wax it with zymol thier car is black also so I can see how it looks and if I like it better.

 

I smoked one of my co-workers LT1 Caprices with my LS......... Well at least until he hit 2nd gear. Did leave 2 nice stripes on the road though launching on the brake.

I feel bad I havent touched my Monte in 2 weeks! I worked last saturday and watched football sunday. This weeks been busy with work and shopping for groceries and whatnot. The truck rolled over to 73k today so did an oil change on that and that consumed my day after work. Also got a new pioneer headunit for the truck since the Dual had a dead display. Nothing fancy but I love it and it changes like 26 er so different colors and boy does it help being able to tweak the settings with the sub now. Friday night I'll be driving the taurus to a birthday party at a bar so no attetion that day and saturday I told the fiance I'd take her out so maybe sometime saturday I can get in the cleaning and waxing and a little cruise and then football all day sunday again

 

Blazed SS I didn't know you were into SQ. I'm currently prepping for MECA Finals one month from today. Redoing my trunk install this weekend. Rewiring everything, building amp racks, etc. Also saving for a few small performance mods. Downpipe and lowering kit. Probably going to respray my headlights, or perhaps try to find a darker tint film to put on instead. Anyone have good experience with actual tint instead of VHT spray?

I used Vht on mine so I wont be able to hely you there man .And theat is the good and bad side of Audio you can allways do more or more custom install
