That sucks, but at least it wasn't worse. I know what you mean about the tint though. Seems anything 20% and darker is horrible at night. I always find myself having to roll the window down so I can see the side mirror when backing up the drive.

after a sleepless night and 2 packs of cigarettes later, i decided not to call the insurance company. atleast not untill i get a legit quote.
i went out and fiddled with it today. got the headlight pulled out a little. theres still a small gap between the headlight and fender/hood. not as bad as it was, but its still there. lol. which means its the only thing im ever gonna see when i look at the car. lastnight it wasnt shining even with the other. if thats the case tonight, then ill deff have to see about getting it professionally done. if it does shine right, then ill just leave it be... for now.
i consider myself lucky. when my sister bought her new mustang in 07, she did the same thing. but she hit my cousins 72 tank... i mean ford ranger. lol. it messed her car up baaaadddd. the hood, fender, bumper and headlight were completely screwed. the door might have been bent. i remember getting out and the door wouldnt open. she didnt even hit hard. so, mine deff could have been worse.
my friend didnt seem too mad. i think he just didnt show his anger. its a 91 Camaro RS. the car was his dads, who took his own life (in the driver seat of the car) this past september. so, when i realised what had happened, you cant even imagine the feeling. luckily, his damage was a small dent on the door. he said not to worry, hes gonna take the door panel off and pop it out.
but, life goes on. its still a nice car, and im very lucky to have it. and things can always be worse for sure.
time to clean it out and get it ready for the drag stip tonight

good call on the insurance thing. Not only does it go up, it also goes against your record .
This is why i don't tint my reverse lights. I really want to for looks, but i do too much night driving to talk myself into it.
