Nice pics! Ya I think you have a real JG Edition. As I recall you couldn't get an 03 in that color combination from the factory - I know I tried, I tried for yellow and silver first and then blue and silver. I didn't want a black car and white and silver didn't look good...so I ended up with an 03 red monte.

So what year ('02, '03, '04) could you buy a plain blue Monte that if you weren't looking closely you thought it was the JG Monte?

I know I've seen a couple of them.

 

I think that shade of blue was only available in 03 & 04. You were able to get an all blue car in the high sports apperance package, but I know you couldn't get the silver ground effects on that color because of the JG edition and the pace car edition. That's the same stupid reason I couldn't get yellow and silver from the factory because it was the pace car color from 02.

 

most of the blue montes i looked at before getting mine had the ground effects kit on it. mine just happened to not have it....

 

I thought I'd seen a couple with silver groundies and not a JG edition car?

Must have been something the owner did the car to make it look that way?

On the page with the exterior color choices, at the bottom of the page they list the available colors pertaining to the ground effects. Or "Lower Moulding color" as they put it.
