Default Weird monte issue with traction system 0.o

So the weirdest thing happened with the monte last night! Went ice skating with the gf in Orlando, after an hour or so of driving back home, out of no where the SERVICE TRACTION SYSTEM message came on, as well as the ABS and TRAC OFF light, so I pull over and turned the car off and back on and the lights went off so I just ignored it. Kinda scared me for a bit tho. Anyone know what might've caused that?

We talk about it at least once a week here :P

It's a wheel hub bearing, giving a code that one of the tires aren't spinning. Either a connection is dirty, or a hub is starting to go bad.

Yes the rear can also do this. My last issue with this 2 years ago was a rear.

Doesn't ALWAYS mean it's the hub. Could just be a connector, could have just been a fluke where one of the wheels said they weren't spinning.

Don't worry about it. If it pops back on you can always take it to a shop and have the ABS code read.

Make sure nothing messed up the wires. My '94 Grand Am has an ABS sensor outside the wheel hub (reads a spline on the CV half shaft). Some how the wiring for one side got destroyed resulting in a non-functioning ABS sensor until it was fixed.
