Volt gague dropping, low battery light and bell goin off...whats up? I posted perviously about how the volt meter fluctuates and the lights flicker more and more often. Well tonight it was pretty cold like 22 degrees and i was in a drive thru line. The lights were flickering and the volt meter was movin as usual. Then the volt meter totally plummeted, the red battery light and alarm went off and the car sounded like it was gunna stall out, while I was at that standstill. So i put it in neutral and hit the gas tokeep it goin.Wtf is happening? This car only has 42k miles!

 

Could be any of a few problems. Could be the battery, but i think its the alternator. Id take it in and have em run a test on it or something.

 

take the car to autozone and have them run an alternator test...it should be puttin out around 14 volts
