Valve Cover Gasket Time!
The superchared 3800's have different valve covers then the NA 3800's. The pic posted on the 1st page is a set for the L67 covers. You can tell because it has grooves for the fuel injectors to go into the heads (vs into the LIM for L36's).
It's not a hard job. The back cover is a little tricky but not bad. I don't even know why GM made a big deal with the recall and all. I had a fuel injector pop out while the engine was running and had gasoline POUR all over my headers with no fire.
But, I wouldn't want any leaks either, so if you have to pay $12-15 for a set of gaskets to fix that then do it.
